The Department of History was established in 1980 with the B.A. (HEP) Course at the beginning of the College combination with History, Economics, and Political Science in Telugu Medium. This course converted into English Medium from the 2021-22 academic year. The main aim of the department is to impart the education of history to the interested young group.
