History - Vision & Mission


Vision

  • The History Department seeks to build its students’ transferable skills, employability, and academic interest, along with educating public awareness around the past and its contest, over teaching, and service activities exposed locally, regionally, and nationally.

 

  • To help write and teach the History of India and the World in a way that is both multicultural and implanted in our national experience.

 

Mission

  •  An understanding of history is essential not only to a complete education but also to a life of varied awareness, realization, and social responsibility. 

 

  • Prepares the students for an extensive choice of careers by teaching a main conventional of transferable skills through the investigation of societies, cultures, and economies across a wide chronological and geographical expand.

 

  • Making a perception among the students on the prosperity of India’s past and its historical associations with the world.
  • Encouraging our students via field trips and seminars to actively engage with the past.

 

  • Creating awareness among the students and the nearest public on the Preservation and Conservation of our Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains.

 

  • To inculcate human values among the people through propagating the sense of History with a multidisciplinary approach for a better understanding of society and realizing mutual coexistence.

Objectives
